Family dentistry · Serving Amsterdam, NY
A familiar practice, now a short drive away.
For more than twenty-six years, Dr. D'Addio practiced at 200 Guy Park Avenue in Amsterdam, first with Dr. Ted Marciniszyn, then as owner after purchasing the practice in 2014. The practice recently moved its office to 310 Jansen Avenue in Johnstown, ten to fifteen minutes from most of Amsterdam by NY-5 or NY-67. Same dentist, same team, same standards, at a new address that's an easier drive for many existing patients.
From Guy Park Avenue to Jansen Avenue.
If you were a Dunning patient at the Amsterdam office, your records, your chair, and your relationship with Dr. D'Addio all moved together. Call the office and the front desk will help you re-establish at the new location.

Why Amsterdam families come to Dunning
Four reasons the drive makes sense.
Amsterdam has its own dentists, and they're fine for routine cleanings. What patients tell us they came to Dunning for is something different, the long view, the by-name relationships, the honest answer.
A short drive, not a project
Ten to fifteen minutes from most of Amsterdam via NY-5 East or NY-67, with free off-street parking at the office. Many Amsterdam patients bookend appointments with errands in Johnstown, it isn't a separate trip.
Twenty-six years on Guy Park Avenue
Dr. D'Addio practiced at 200 Guy Park Avenue in Amsterdam from 2000 until the recent move to Johnstown, first as Dr. Ted Marciniszyn's associate, then as owner after 2014. Most of his current patient base is Amsterdam and Montgomery County families.
The same dentist, the same standards
Dr. D'Addio has been the constant in the chair for twenty-six years. He's joined now by associate Dr. Steven Bauman, DDS, who has been with the practice for several years. Patients who come back years later sit with someone who has their full history.
No chain pressure
Dunning is not part of a corporate dental group. There are no quarterly procedure targets, no scripted upsells, and no rotating roster of associate dentists. Right work, right amount, right time, and the freedom to actually practice that way.
First-visit path
From an Amsterdam phone call to your first visit.
The front desk. Sara, Kasey, Francine, or Maggie, handles most of the work before you drive over, including transferring records from your previous Amsterdam dentist. The visit itself starts with a conversation, not a clipboard.
